I’m Danna, a designer and creative partner currently based in Mexico City. I’ve spent my career designing digital products, and I’m particularly drawn to the messy early stages—bringing clarity to ideas, shaping how products work, and turning them into thoughtful, polished experiences.
Most recently, I spent seven years at Business Insider, where I helped build the design organization from the ground up and grew from Senior Product Designer to UX Director.
These days, I work independently with small teams and startups, moving comfortably between strategy and hands-on execution and collaborating closely with product and engineering.
Lately, I’ve been curious about how AI is changing the creative process. I’ve been experimenting with new tools in my own work, learning where they accelerate the process, where they don’t, and how much good creative judgment still matters. That curiosity is a big part of what brought me here.
Outside of work, you'll usually find me exploring new music, practicing my Spanish, or saying yes to experiences that spark new perspectives. That same curiosity tends to find its way into how I approach my work, too.
